Outreach Activities

This highlights the activities i am involved in outside of the classroom at Clemson University. These organizations have allowed me to grow and engage my community, while becoming a leader and meeting great people along the way!

Kappa Delta Sorority Member

In my time as a Kappa Delta at Clemson University, I have been able to become deeply involved in the community through leadership roles and community outreach. I currently serve as our chapter's Vice President of Recruitment and Marketing on our council, which is comprised of 8 elected members. I am in charge of planning and executing Recruitment for fall 2023 and running the Kappa Delta Marketing Team. I oversee 16 positions in addition to 10 recruitment specific committees. I have also completed over 80 hours of community service, working with our local philanthropies- Prevent Child Abuse America and the Girl Scouts. We raised over 113k for our philanthropy this past year.

William T Howell Pre Law Society Member

I am a member of an organization where students are further educated about the process of applying to law school, the degree of dedication that law school entails, how to pay for law school, the benefits of a Juris Doctorate degree, and given opportunities to promote prosperous relationships between prospective law students. Through this club I have been able to meet law school representatives from nearby schools, learn about different study plans, and connect with Clemson alum who went through the law school application process and are currently studying for their degrees.

ClemsonLife Volunteer

ClemsonLIFE is supported by Volunteers 4 LIFE student organization which is composed of more than 650+ Clemson University undergraduate and graduate students who support the program in and out of the classrooms. I personally volunteer on an individual and group basis weekly with students in ClemsonLIFE. Through this, I have been able to make deep connections with students within the program and enjoy every minute with them. Through my position in Kappa Delta I was able to recruit new members that are in the ClemsonLIFE program. My favorite volunteer opportunity is the weekly swim team that I coach for the students!

Spanish Pre-Professional Society Member

I am a member of an organization where students are exposed to different cultures and the international professional world. Our society has a mix of professional and casual events, allowing us to make friends with people who share the same interests and network with guest speakers and professionals in the industry. Throughout this organization I have been able to learn from guest speakers, expand my circle at Clemson with students who share similar interests as me, and prepare for the professional world by sharing and learning advice and experiences from other students and guest speakers.
